He is a Medicare Provider. As of October 1, 2011, Dr. Schechter is also a PPO Provider for Beech Street, HealthNet, Interplan, and Humana/Choice Care. Again, PPO and POS plans only; not HMO. He is also a provider for other plans, please call and ask staff or the office manager if you have questions. Dr. Schechter treats patients who are injured at the workplace through worker's compensation insurance. He is also a QME or Qualified Medical Evaluator for illnesses/injuries suffered at Work. He is soon to be a Provider for Coventry/First Health and MultiPlan. He sees patients on Liens from selected attorneys. Dr. Schechter is not a provider for any HMO plans. He is not accepting Medi-Cal patients. He is NOT a provider for all PHCS networks. All of the above are subject to change at any time so please verify when you make your appointment. Note: you can still see him if your coverage is different and often part of your visit is typically covered as an "out of network" provider.
